I think every bride nervously watches the weather on the week of her wedding day, and Danielle was no different. It called for storms, but I advised her not to sweat it. As someone who lives by the weather report, I’ve learned not to trust it, rather to have faith that every wedding day I shoot will be beautiful- rain or shine. What I didn’t expect was the fog that rolled in on the Cape on Danielle’s wedding day that created a gorgeous blanket of magic over Harwich Port and the Wychmere Beach Club that created the most beautiful effect.
Danielle planned every detail of this wedding to a T. I worked with her thought the planning process and was in awe of her ability to keep things meticulously organized, so it was no wonder that each detail was perfect come their wedding day. And as type A as Danielle was, Rob was the perfect complement to her energy- laid back, relaxed and fully supportive of all her ideas- including let us bring them to the ocean and withstand the freezing cold winds of the Atlantic for some of the most stunning wedding portraits I’ve ever shot.
Just in time for the end of the summer, I love reliving this dream of a day with Danielle and Rob at the Wychmere Beach Club, and I hope you do too.
