Floral Farm Styled Bridal Editorial

For me, weddings aren’t just about portraits and documentation. Sure, I want to capture the important, heart-felt, candid moments. The tears and laughter and the stuff you don’t plan. But I also want to tell a story. I want to bring a vision to life. Usually it’s yours, and sometimes it’s mine, or a collection of creatives. Styled shoots let me recharge, create, plan and bring a collective vision to life. To show clients and couples would could be. To play with light and my lens. And details. All the beautiful details. To tell a story from conception to the final images.

I met Jamie in the spring and she mentioned that her flower farm was gorgeous in Autumn, so we planned a gorgeous late summer shoot. Boy, was she on point. Gorgeous doesn’t do it justice.

I wanted to focus on the beauty of women, of brides, of summer and autumn and it’s gorgeous colors, of nature and flowers and the farm. I think our team did just that and mother nature cooperated to bring the most gorgeous light game. I hope you enjoy my favorite shots from this stunning night as we slip slowly past autumn and straight into winter in upstate NY.
